I pay taxes.  That's enough of a donation

That money goes towards their salaries (among other things), not their campaigns.  Although it sounds like Trump uses his campaign cash for whatever...

As I said, I used to years ago, but not any more.

None of these politicians, left or right, are accountable for the wasteful spending of the government......so I don't trust any of them with campaign contributions.

I used to volunteer my time, but that was before I had kids

I have. Mostly state level, people I know personally.
Never a president.
1 US Senator, 2 US House Reps.

Me too. I would rather volunteer my time for somebody I support rather than money.

On my taxes, I do check the $3 goes to Presidential Election Campaign Fund. This is how we get big money out of elections if everybody would do it. But nobody uses the fund; presidential candidates would rather use private donations anyway. If very few to none of us are donating to them, think about where the money is coming from.

People donating thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to Super PACs might have a bigger impact than people giving $3 on their tax return

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, the controversial Arizona Democrat who threatens to derail President Biden's legislative agenda, received more than $750,000 in donations from the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. After that, she announced her opposition to a Democratic plan to lower prescription drug costs.

During her successful 2018 Senate campaign, Sinema repeatedly vowed to lower prescription drug prices and drug costs for seniors.

DINO

Politicians don't even deserve their salaries let alone my money

Donnie really needs my money to straighten out America. If I send money it will fix Trump's wall as well as restore Trump to the White House.

No.  I would like to donate a smelly bag o’ sheet to all of their faces though.
