I posted it because of the Derek Barnett comparison. That comp doesn’t really make sense to then project him as a standup 3-4 OLB. Usually when I hear the 3-4 edge projection, I assume an undersized player for a 4-3 DE OR they have the ability to drop back into pass coverage. At a 7th round pick, he is great value. If we played a 3-4 I can see this as a steal. He is not big enough to play DE for us. Not sure how good his coverage skills are to play OLB. Yeah between him and the safety/lb we got late both seem to be able to come down hill hard they have a chance to make it and do something in situations. Heavy Cover 3 with a bit of Cover2 mixed in? 4-3 over? under? 3-4? 4-2-5? Is he going to just be super flexible based on match-ups and morph the D through all those options?
