I saw this once years ago, forgot how messed up it is. But it's so romantic!

Here are two under-the-radar movies that I think are worth watching.

Watch through for Tea Leoni's line.

All I could think about this entire movie was how this foreman could afford a new heart for his wife as well as this smokewagon AI robot with a working vachina.

I'D OFFER MY WIFE'S STILL-BEATING HEART TO MIGHTY KALI FOR TWO MINUTES WITH THAT ROBOT RANDI!

YOU WILL SUFFER A THOUSAND DEATHS IN YAMALOKA FOR YOUR TREACHERY!

MAY YOU LIVE YOUR NEXT LIFE AS THE IMPURE VESSEL OF A WOMAN'S IMPURE CYCLE.

^ Will there be a new Foggy Bottom Boys song?

Watched Convlave the other day on Peacock.

For a subject that I have absolutely zero interest in, this movie was actually very good.

Complete Unknown was good.  Highly recommend

Furiosa - I’m out of touch with society on these. I thought this one was great after hearing disappointing reviews when it came out. I thought Fury Road was a bit overrated, but good but not quite the hype. I’d probably still put it slightly ahead of Furiosa, but the delta is a lot smaller than I expected.

It’s only from like 1960 to 1964

its just how desperate everyone seems to be in them, like they are screaming for awards and the overacting in them, the oscar baiting is crazy, but then i cant really talk about movies when i like 2000s raunchy comedies

Timothee Chalamet is the host AND musical guest on SNL this week.

Good on him!

its just movies like bohemian rhapsody, oppenheimer and lincoln ruined biopics for me when better films couldve won oscars those years

Lincoln didn’t win best picture.

DDL won best actor, but iirc that was the only one of the big Oscar’s it won.

still better options for best actor imo

Because they are usually awful.

shouldve got rid of them instead of getting rid of raunchy comedies to be honest

I'll take Hangover 4, Knocked Up 2 and Wedding Crashers 2 way over some biopic with the only purpose of winning oscars (ehem...oppenheimer, lincoln)

I watched it last night. The movie lacked substance and was pretty much a 2.5 hour Bob Dylan cover show starring Timothee Chalamet

its literally got eight oscar noms, i dont know how

come on.  it's not for everyone, but "lacked substance" is silly
