Ally Sheedy was adorable in WarGames.

I left midway through. 2nd in a double header and I could feel myself starting to doze and didn’t want to snore for everyone in the theater.

it was kind of meh but it wasn't going to fight off my sleep apnea so I decided to save everyone else in the theater the annoyance

Naked Gun was great. I laughed the entire time. So many bad/stupid jokes that you don't even notice or get some of them. They spoof Dark Knight at the beginning, which was really funny but also really dumb.

Also, the OJ portrait got me. I was thinking about OJ being in the three earlier films before I saw the movie, but I still wasn’t expecting it.

Lastly, the joke about Pam Anderson’s butt is the quintessential Naked Gun joke

Best part about seeing it in the theater is hearing what stupid things make people laugh.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet or not, but I thought F1 was awesome

I watched something called Werewolves on Paramount + last night, absolutely horrible movie, the 'plot' is that a supermoon event has activated a latent werewolf gene for everyone on the planet, Frank Grillo plays (I kid you not) a cellular biologist with military training, to make it even better his boss is Lou Diamond Phillips and they're trying to develop a sunscreen but for moonlight.

The fatal flaw is that rather than lean into that ridiculous plot and play it for laughs, it plays it down the line almost po-facedly straight, the werewolf effects mix the uncanny valley of all CGI monster transformations with practical effects that are waaay worse than the original American Werewolf in London and to put a top hat on it, it skimps on gore and is completely devoid of boobs, which are mandatory prerequisites for a decent werewolf flick (see American Werewolf and The Howling).

Absolutely awful, avoid.

I could have told you it awful as soon as you mentioned Frank Grillo. 2025 Lou Diamond Phillips is the icing on that crap sandwich

The Roses was hilarious . Lots go great sarcastic humor in it

Yeah to be clear I wasn't expecting Citizen Kane, I was expecting a campy horror comedy like a Lavalantula with higher production values, and it instead I got a bad horror movie, that took itself way too seriously and was chockfull of plot holes.

Re-watched The Martian last night - man what a great movie.

Hey Cumm sock! I watched this the other night remembering this stupid post. You’re right. This movie is awesome. I’d be dead on that planet within 24 hours of knowing my team left me. 😂

Friendship ended up being a lot weirder than I expected. Weird in a good way , but still weird, not sure even Tim Robinson fans will dig it.
