Haven't watched PB, but Scream uses that song in the original as well, I believe when they are doing establishing shots of the ton going on curfew before we get Sidney and Tatum shopping for snacks for that evening's massacre.

Ah, cool. I haven't watched the original in a while, I've seen it so many times I skipped it this time. Hadn't seen 2 in a long time. I recently watched Scary Movie the spoof. The Scream sequels got progressively worse and campy as they went on.

I remember getting some random at the movies to get us into the theater to see scary movie lol. Sheet was hilarious. Haunted house with Marlon Wayans is also historical.

Scream 4 I thought was a great return to the franchise and the one with Anora was also solid. The most recent one (I think they lived in NYC) did not impress me enough to where I have not revisited it yet.

I watched Scream dozens of times as a kid, and in what I think was Summer of 2000 when Scary Movie came out, I was staying with my dad in Key West for summer break and I remember one of his friend's girlfriends took me to see it because she was also interested and I would have been 14 at the time. The way they basically remade Scream (with some IKWYDLS mixed in) was great, and I don't think I had any experience with spoof-genre movies at that point so it was like a newfound way of making a film for me.

Yeah I don’t know how it made that much money. Started strong as F, then about halfway took a nosedive.

The Naked Gun remake/reboot whatever. I loved the original show & movies. Gave this axtry(currently on Paramount+).

It was actually funny & a good modern update with enough nods to the original...for about 20 minutes. Then it got stale and boring.

This movie is so terrible, I don't know why anyone likes it.

Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning - Seemed like the hype was largely negative with this one, lot of people didn't like it. What more did they want? Yes, the 1st hour was heavier on exposition than other entries, and it took longer to get going, but holy hell once it did it was great. That last hour was awesome.

Avatar is kinda like Fast & Furious in for the most part you're either in or you're out and you pretty much settled that with the 1st installment. If you're in on Avatar, this might be the best of the 3. The technology just keeps getting better and this one kinda dipped into horror. As usual half an hour too long but the immersion is incomparable, there's simply no other movie experience that transports you to another world like Avatar 3D does.

The final battle rivals the best of LoTR, eye popping epic.

Yeah the plot always feels like its going in circles, characters get captured and escape multiple times in the same movie, the same speeches get repeated yadda yadda. But every superfluous scene is an excuse to show you something else they cooked up. Added layers to previous storyboards, new light shows and more tricks that pull you in further to believing you're there.

Not for everybody, definitely not for Luddites who refuse to don the glasses, but it's still the most unique show the theater has to offer.
