It's not as bad a bout of recentism as it sounds.  Eagles were a franchise of perennially bad olines for almost all of its history until the Andy Reid era.  Yeah we had Sizemores and Browns , guys who really stood out for 2-3 years and paved the way for brief success.  But sustained success eluded the Eagles until the turn of the century precisely because we didn't have these decade long rocks up front.
