I think the point by the OP was to get different viewpoints and engage in some conversation this no Reggie and no Jerome. I’m sure both  would easily be on nearly everyone’s list.

I'm not playing the OP's sick games

Original poster is obviously anti-deadist.

What about, Who are the all-time greatest *white* D-line players?

Reggie White, obviously.

As noted above, if you're assembling a best Eagles of all time front 4 it's:

Reggie

Fletch

Jerome

Simmons

The only debate is if you want to discuss Cole in lieu of Simmons, but I believe Simmons wins out.

All time best DL…no one who has hit 10 sacks in a season is eligible.   Now go.

Did Andy Harmon ever have 10 in a year? If not, he's an obvious choice.

Andy Harmon had sack seasons of 11, 11.5 and 9.

He is one of the most criminally underrated Interior pass rushers of all time.

Cole was good but Simmons was on another level, Simmons had 3 seasons in a row with 100 plus tackles and two more with 96 and 98 Coles season high in tackles was 77.

Simmons also led the league in sacks one year with 19 and while Cole has more sacks with the eagles than Simmons, 85.5 to 76.5 Simmons has more career sacks with 122.5 to Coles 95.5

Not to mention Simmons has 2 ints with the eagles and 3 total tds as well and was an all pro Twice which Cole never was.

Yep -- good points. I'm firmly in the Simmons over Cole camp after you frame it up.

I kinda remember Hairston having something like 15 sacks one year.

I know Harrison did, maybe Hairston did in a season before they tracked sacks but after they started he never had a season with 10 sacks or more.

I find it odd that the NFL didn't track sacks as an official stat until mid 80s???

Corey Simon was great as a rookie, I mean hell he got a sack in his first ever defensive snap and finished the year with 9.5 but after that he got fat and was useless.

If he could have maintained his rookie season play he'd be a multiple pro bowler Instead he ended up as just a fat waste of space👎

That why I picked Charlie Johnson over him.

I agree about graham though I amend my pick.

Get BG on this list.  He's gotten better with age and carved himself out a damn good career in Philly.  Longevity and SB winning plays count for a lot.

DE - Reggie 1987

DT -Jerome Brown 1991

DT - Cox 2015

DE - BG 2017

I feel this is probably too highly biased towards the recent past though.

Unfortunately the Eagles don't have such a fruitful history, unless you take into consideration the pre-superbowl era.
