1st - No. 21 - Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

5th - No. 168 - John Hightower, WR, Boise State

6th - No. 196 - Shaun Bradley, LB, Penn State

7th - No. 233 - Casey Toohill, DE, Stanford

And here’s a look back at Bleeding Green Nation’s coverage so far for each individual pick.

JALEN REAGOR

Immediate contributor at wide receiver who can help the Eagles be more explosive. Could also be the primary punt returner.

JALEN HURTS

No. 2 quarterback behind Carson Wentz. And maybe he’ll immediately contribute in a Taysom Hill kind of role?

DAVION TAYLOR

Raw, developmental linebacker who could end up being a role player in addition to helping out on special teams. Might eventually be a starter.

K’VON WALLACE

Versatile defensive back who has the chance to contribute as a role player but might just be a backup at first.

NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick K’Von Wallace at No. 127

K’Von Wallace already loves Eagles fans

JACK DRISCOLL

Listed at offensive tackle by the Eagles but played guard and spent effort learning the center position. Versatile backup.

NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Jack Driscoll at No. 145

Jack Driscoll is eager to continue developing on the Eagles

JOHN HIGHTOWER

Not a pure burner but he’s fast and will have a chance to compete for a fifth or sixth receiver spot.

NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick John Hightower at No. 168

SHAUN BRADLEY

Could earn a roster spot by standing out on special teams and providing linebacker depth.

NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Shaun Bradley at No. 196

QUEZ WATKINS

Speedy deep threat who, like Hightower, will compete for a fifth or sixth receiver spot.

NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Quez Watkins at No. 200

PRINCE TEGA WANOGHO

Has the potential to be the Eagles’ backup left tackle if he can stay healthy. Plus, Andre Dillard bust insurance.

NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Prince Tega Wanogho at No. 210

CASEY TOOHILL

Tweener who might be able to develop into a backup.

NFL Draft Results: Eagles pick Casey Toohill at No. 233

TRADE CONSIDERATIONS

The Eagles ultimately traded picks No. 146 and No. 190 into ... No. 196, No. 200, No. 210, No. 233, a 2021 fifth-round pick from the Dallas Cowboys, and Marquise Goodwin.

UDFA

The Eagles obviously aren’t done adding to their roster; they’ll be signing more players in undrafted free agency. Philadelphia has been able to find some UDFA contributors in recent years such as T.J. Edwards, Anthony Rush, Josh Adams, Corey Clement, etc. The hope is that Howie Roseman can find more diamonds in the rough.

I don't think Hurts starts the season as #2.  If all the speculation is accurate and they'll play him in a Tayson Hill role, he'll be #3 behind Sudfeld who has much more knowledge of the offense (as Hill was behind Bridgewater in NO).  They have some work to do with Hurts before he can be trusted to spot start as needed.

That's pretty solid work by Howie.  He basically converted pick 146 (the final pick in the 4th) to a 5th next year and 190 (a pick roughly one third of the way through the 6th rd) into 3 x 6th rd picks, a 7th rd pick, and Goodwin.  Love having that extra pick in 2021 - didn't need 11 draft picks this year.

We might not need any draft picks next year so stockpiling for next year doesn't seem the best strategy.

Mind you I wouldn't be shocked if they traded for Yannick i really wouldn't.

Depends on what happens with the college football season and further how the NFL responds if it is indeed cancelled.  Also, I'd have to think that any picks exchanged in 2020 would move forward to 2022 should a draft not happen next year (which I highly doubt will be the case).
