Too many money problems with him. Has a high cap number and needs a new contract. If that was the case the cheaper option would have been to keep Jordan Howard

As was I. I think he was a perfect option for this team. It is possible he didnt want to stay here though due to getting more carries for another team. However now Dolphins traded for Breida so he is in the same situation.

I'd look in to it. See what value the Jags have on him. See what can potentially be done with the contract.

I would love it. Fournette has his best ball coming, and with our OLine.. wow. Sanders and Fournette is a star combo that would give us an epic run game, no doubt!

Yeah I mean imagine what he could do. And I know he's had injury issues but he could be used sparingly here. We could manage his workload because we have our #1 RB.

Wentz - Hurts

Ertz - Goedert

Sanders - Fournette

QB, TE, RB would be excellent.

And finally there's hope and potential at WR...

If only they would understand that we still need a starting LG, this offense could be epic.

I don't think we do. I think Seumalo is fine on a good OL. Now the concern is how he'll fare with Dillard at LT. Seumalo is now the veteran of that pairing.

If only they'd used that second round pick better hey... 😉

Well, there is always next year to find a LG and a DE.. Let's just trade for Fournette and enjoy.

Well I had the Eagles trading for both Ngakoue and Fournette in my mock, but that might be a bit too big of a deal..

A 2021 first, a 2021 third, Jeffrey and Douglas for Ngakoue and Fournette... :-)

Sure, I'd probably do it. Then again, that the Jags didn't get a trade for either during the draft may be good for us. Looking every day if there are any news on this.

I've got to think they will surely come under greater pressure to trade Yannick?

Give them Hurts for him.

No way were we going to give him what the Dolphins did. And Florida is a tax free state so its even more.

This should be renamed the Stupid F thread

Sanders is going to be the main guy, we need another strong RB for sure BUT not a high salary guy AND certainly NOT someone we need to trade for.  There are several FA RB's still available that can be had for cheap $ and won't cost draft picks.

backup QB for cheap, RB for cheap.. what's the point?

I'd rather take as many young star players as I possibly can.

He still has an $8 million cap hit currently which isn't that cheap.  And it'll be much more next year.  Then we have to resign him

He's not going to come cheap either

Sanders is going to be a stud, no point in getting another guy who needs 10+ carries a game
