August 2, 20205 yr No prearranged plans today. Staying at home. Widow practice day? Who knows phone might ring. Otherwise cooking some beets, will do some pickled eggs. Still have zucchini may do some bread if I have all the ingredients here. I loathe going to the store. Only 1 bottle of wine here so I shouldn’t get in too much trouble. Enjoy the day. Seconds later my phone goes off. BIL texts me "I hate to bother you but can you come over and help me move some furniture". Sure, I only have a little sun stroke. After hauling 5 dressers upstairs into various bedrooms I'm finally home and @schmoopie is making me a hot fish dish. Halibut, you dorks.

August 3, 20205 yr I played 36 holes of golf yesterday over an hour away from my house. I got absolutely hammered, the back of my neck is bright pink, and I drove home as fast as I could. My wife, who is 10 years younger, was with 4 of her friends, and we drank until 3 am. I honestly could have slept until tomorrow. I woke up at noon (first time since college), I took the trash and recycling to the curb, drove to McDonald's and bought lunch (first time in 20 years), ate it, threw up twice, and I haven't moved from my couch watching the Flyers and golf since 2.

I was next to her on the couch, and she just pulled her shirt right up, ripped out a boob, and started pumping. I don't know what it is with girls in their upper 20s today, but they just don't care at all about showing skin. I've seen every one of my wife's friends arses, teets, a couple virginas........they just don't care anymore. I can't imagine what it would be like being in college now with all the apps or even a cell phone. I used to cross my fingers that my AOL instant message or my landline would have a message when I got back to my room.

August 3, 20205 yr Got back from vacation Thursday night. Emptied all of our gear late Thursday night and early Friday morning. Spent all day Friday and Saturday sitting on the couch in my underwear with an ice pack (no pics, you pervs). Brewed a batch of beer yesterday and opened our camper up to clean the sand out of it and by the end of the day I was exhausted and quite sore. Also drank most of the day yesterday. Today I'm back to work.

I don’t have a thing to do today, and I’m already thinking about what I can do around the house. 😜 Right now though, still up at 6 with a quiet house and lazy dog. We dropped our oldest off at college last week 😭 so it’s been a bit strange with one piece of the family missing. I hope you are all happy, healthy, and handy...be safe out there - it’s a different world than it was yesterday. Here’s to you all, and to Sunday Morning, coming down. 🍺
