That's why it doesn't stay long. That little beast is moving at over 364,000 miles per hour. That's Earth to the Moon in approx. 40 minutes. Since the Sun is still pretty close to a solar minimum, the corona is not evenly distributed around the Sun. There's more at the equator, so where it dips in matters too. That said, it's a very interesting mission.

How long it stays is not the only problem. It wouldn't take long for this craft to melt under such high heat. Any approach to the corona is beyond the melting point of any metal we have.
