Today's Senate Polls

Another mediocre poll for Val Demings. On the other hand, maybe Cook was premature in moving the Pennsylvania race yesterday from "Leans Democratic" to "Toss Up." If you went to Democratic leadership right now and offered to guarantee a Fetterman win at the expense of a Demings loss, every one of them would take it. (Z)

State Democrat D % Republican R % Start End Pollster
Florida Val Demings 41% Marco Rubio* 47% Sep 26 Sep 28 Mason Dixon
New Hampshire Maggie Hassan* 49% Don Bolduc 43% Sep 27 Sep 28 St. Anselm Coll.
Oregon Ron Wyden* 51% Jo-Rae Perkins 32% Sep 30 Oct 01 Emerson Coll.
Pennsylvania John Fetterman 46% Mehmet Oz 40% Sep 27 Sep 30 Suffolk U.
Washington Patty Murray* 51% Tiffany Smiley 42% Sep 30 Oct 01 Emerson Coll.

Are any of those a party switch?

not much for fetterman but Oz is a complete clown and deserves to lose

Just PA. I think the Dems will hold GA, but gain a seat in PA and AZ. So 52-48. I don't expect the mid terms to have a huge impact. The republicans will likley have the house so they will hold committee hearings about Hunter and draft articles of impeachment against Biden but none of that will go anywhere.

The morons will still vote for him.

Florida Dems criticize Marco Rubio for being absent on vote that included disaster relief funds

A day after Hurricane Ian devastated portions of Southwest Florida, Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio visited Lee County, the center of the destruction caused by the storm.

It was the same day that the U.S. Senate voted on legislation that would allow FEMA to access funding for disaster relief in the wake of the storm — prompting Florida Democrats to hold a press conference in St. Petersburg on Thursday criticizing him for not being present for that vote.

Rubio is up for re-election this fall against Democrat Val Demings.

"Either you want the people of Florida to have what they need after this devastation, or you’re more concerned about playing politics and making the former disgraced president happy and sticking it to Joe Biden,” Rayner said, adding that "the people of Florida deserve better.”

I'm sure the DOJ/FBI will be treating this as seriously as they have Ashley Biden's rehab diary

It's always a h00t to hear Democrats calling anyone else authoritarians.

It’s even more of a hoot when someone calls me a democrat. Way to avoid the discussion though.

Jobs? Jobs have been growing exponentially under Biden.

Inflation? What is the republican solution? They are running on election denial and abortion bans.

"Authoritarian wack jobs"

Wow. Pot meet the kettle.

🤣

I just don't know what else Dems can do to prove themselves. It's as if the media refuses to acknowledge them and their "accomplishments".

You’re right, I’m not a biologist, so I’m not qualified to say which party you belong to.

Yeah, I don’t vote for them regardless of the party they belong to.

How about we discuss the post you made and not what party I belong to? Defend Mastriano.

Mastriano.. Walker.. Lake.. some of the worst candidates in recent history and two of them may be voted in by the Republican party.

Both parties have healthy doses of hypocrisy but only one refuses to police itself in any way beyond "whatever Trump wants"

The Trump Party solution? cut corporate taxes and cut the taxes of those making $250,000 or more without funding it, and making the rest of America pay for it.

Jobs do tend to grow on the heels of a pandemic where the government paid people to stay home

So job growth is fake because the government handed out a bunch of free money to people to stay home on the heels of a pandemic, but inflation is real because Biden bad and not at all for the exact same reasons as the former. Logical consistency is duly noted.

Job growth is fake because of the reference point

Which was a policy started by Trump. So much so that he insisted putting his name on each check. Yet it didn't stop you from voting for him.

He framed the check
