I wrote in John Wick for my school board.

Election fortification starting early this year! Nice!

And this long day of you "owning" the board with a never ending stream of face planting has begun.

Love to see it

Yes, let the "faceplating" commence!

Took a little over a half hour to vote today. CB East, showed up around 8:20, didn't get out until 9.

Glad to hear there is high voter turnout. Bad news for a party the prioritizes suppressing the vote.

I think most were republicans. I went during a busy time.

don't worry though, I plan on voting again before lunch, and might squeeze in a few more this afternoon.

You guys don't just vote by mail? So much easier.

I enjoy the in person experience. The wife votes by mail.

Got to be honest, if I didn't have two small children keeping me busy all the time I wouldn't mind taking a leisurely morning to go vote.

Not to bad for me this morning.  In and out in 15 mins.  Line M-Z was non existant.

Yeah, I kinda like routines and Election Day is a a lowkey holiday for me. I also just have a lot more confidence that my vote was counted if I go in person. It helps, though, that my precinct is pretty small so I never really have to wait in line.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll correct my mistake now.

They had two people at the front of the line with iPads, all they had to do was look up people's names (which we had written on a slip of paper before to help expedite things) and have us sign or present photo ID if it was our first time voting there.

Yet it took them at least 2 minutes for each person.

Literally all they're doing is trying in the first few digits of people's last names and finding them in a list to have them sign. That's it.

Unfortunately the people who volunteer to help tend to be .. older, and not technically savvy. Things were faster when they had paper rolls / books.

Funny you say that, I heard someone else complain about M-Z having no line but they were in line forever in A-L

I have been for the past couple elections.

Hilarious.  No proven voter fraud by Democratic voters.  Multiple proven cases of voter fraud by Republican voters.

Meh.  Polling station is less than a mile away.  Plus my dumb ass would probably put the wrong date or something on my mail in.

It's a must for people with busy schedules.

It wasn't much faster for me the old fashion way.  The struggle to determine if the first two letters of a last name fall within the range of 4 names on a page is real.
