They said they weren’t going to release them until every county sent in the results to Carson City.  So it’s going to go from 0% to 100%

Honestly I don't see Trump getting the nod again.

I think after this disaster of a midterm for them plus the general vibe I get from rank and file GOP, people are tired of him.

So I'm waking up to the Dems likely keeping the Senate, the Repubs taking the house, and a mostly Dem victory with the various Governor races.  Is that the summary?

They were sick of him after the election loss. 
 

Then they were finally over Trump after he took a big dump on America on Jan 6.

Now they are really really really ready to turn the page after this mid terms.
 

But doesn’t want what the rank and file GOP want, the MAGA base is now bigger than the sensible part of the republic base. So Trump controls primary and therefore while the rank and file will complain for a while, eventually Trump will ask them to bend over and pull their pants down and they will oblige like the cowards they are (or they will be Liz Chaney’d)

Let's hope so.  Don't think it will happen without a major struggle though.  I suppose DeSantis could force the issue now if he doesn't want to wait until 2028.  If he doesn't do that then my bet is on a smooth ride for Trump to get the nomination.

2. DeSantis vs. Trump will drive down Republican turnout in a general election. There is, legitimately, 5-10% of the U.S. population that believes Trump has been ordained by God and will never vote for anyone but him.

Fetterman destroys Oz, no more political ads, and Trump's destruction of the GOP is almost complete. Damn, what a great day.

They're not the biggest group, just the loudest.

The problem is that the GOP leadership (sans McConnell) are weathervanes.
