5% generated mostly from Philly and Pittsburg but whatever is getting you off.

I lost in the primary. 🤷

No, you lost at birth

This statement shows just how stupid you are.

Pretty incredible that the Dems may actually pick up a seat in the senate this cycle.  You’d think this would teach the GOP to not pick terrible candidates but that doesn’t seem likely.

This is absolutely an indictment on Orange Face.  Every President with this approval rating has lost tons of seats in the midterms.

Reps need to move on to Ronny or Kemp from GA

The problem with the GOP are too many Romney's, Graham's, and McConnell's in congress. Nothing but lip service and selling out cycle after cycle. That's how you get Trump. Putting up Hillary did hurt either.

The problem isn't Trump himself. He got voted in. Those people aren't going anywhere. If the GOP does have the house and investigations get buried or dismissed as Romney would suggest Trump's going to be a big thorn in the side GOP and any candidate in the primaries.

DeSantis has his chance for 2024. With the lights on he's managed the hurricanes, the rebuilding, and a 99% vote count on election day.

The democrats know it too.

There’s no way orange man runs again now.  Pretty much all of his backers are out of the house and the senate.  Outside of the redneck splooge parties he has zero backers.

I think he still absolutely runs and is still very likely to be the nominee. Especially if the establishment can’t get it to be a one on one primary with him and Desantis. My guess is that trump screws over the GOP chances in 2024 and then Desantis is the nominee in 2028.

Gotta love seeing the country reject Trump. A new chance for Mitch. He will blink yet again.

Considering how poorly NY Dems fared, he probably should be reconsidered as majority leader.

If Dems in NY trended as they had elsewhere they'd almost certainly have retained majorities in BOTH houses.

Yeah, I honestly don’t get the appeal here.  Ok, you like guns…. Who gives a f?  You’re running for a six-year term.  You better have more to offer than just being a gun nut.

That being said I gave some high school juniors an exercise in class where I asked them to rank the first 10 amendments.  Like half the class said the 2nd amendment is the most important one.   This high school is in rural North Carolina btw.

I'm (obviously) not a gun guy, but even if I was it's a weird video. I don't see the appeal to anyone of watching a guy talk about his gun with the same dead eyed zeal of Patrick Bateman talking about Genesis.

I was listening to a podcast the other day that had an interesting perspective on the NY race vs the election in general. Basically they argued that pretty much everywhere where the Republicans ran on election denial and abortion, or at least made it part of their campaign, they dramatically underperformed. Where as the candidates who avoided the election denial BS and didn't take a strong stance on abortion (because it was codified by the state or otherwise) made more typical or even above average midterm gains. They used NY vs PA as the example. In one state the GOP ran Trumper nuts and lost bigly, the other they focused on inflation and jobs and they made big gains.

Who could've guessed?

I’ve also seen it argued that Lee Zeldin ran a strong enough campaign for Governor that he helped Republicans down the ballot in NY even though he didn’t win.

Of course

Excellent WSJ piece yesterday about how independents swung Democrat in the mid terms and why.  Everything points to this being an total incitement on Trump and his candidates.

Looking like a thin majority for Republicans. Maybe less than 10 votes.

How it started…

How it’s going…

So my burning question now is, are right wingers still hot mad at mainstream media polls?

Latest Maricopa batch comes in 54-45 for Lake. I think it's close but not what she needs.
