I've got to get to work on being able to put together incoherent statements without making it look like I'm doing it on purpose. Will something like this work? Gun control yeah about guns and guns, I'm for gun oh you know the thing.

The amusing thing about insulting Biden is that I’m pretty sure most Dems are aware he’s a nearly hundred year old man who’s a bit pervy and has trouble speaking. But we would vote for just about anyone over Trump and don’t really care that Joe is all of the above.

Yeah, the whole "Dems are terrible, but Republicans are so much worse they've lost three elections in a row" is a weird flex.

I understand that if someone's point of view differs from your point of view they should be silenced so maybe see if one of the Mod's shares your views on how to deal with someone who mentions that Biden and Fetterman are bumbling fools. I actually thought the alphabet soup meme was pretty funny when instead maybe I should have just asked the poster to stop posting because I was so offended by his joke.

I forgot that we are supposed to try to silence those with differing points of view and call it disinformation. If your opinion is that both Biden and Fetterman are operating with their full faculties that's up to you but I don't believe they are.

Fetterman is recovering from a stroke. If you want to make fun of their disabilities, knock yourself out. However, doing so while ignoring the lunacy of the right (coming out in favor of dismantling the constitution, violent revolt against the government under an enemy flag, openly calling for the government to take over private industry aka communism) just makes you look foolish.
December 6, 20223 yr Why Republicans are 100% F'd until they completely sever from the Trump/fascist BS https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/06/politics/trump-legacy-independents-red-wave-2022/index.html Quote In the election, fully 66% of independent voters said they had an unfavorable view of the former president while just 30% viewed him favorably, according to the results of the exit poll conducted by Edison Research for a consortium of media organizations including CNN. Among female independents, Trump’s ratings were even worse: just 23% favorable and 72% unfavorable, according to previously unpublished exit poll results provided by the CNN polling unit. The exit poll showed Democrats winning independents in the national vote for the House of Representatives only by a narrow 49% to 47% margin. The magnitude of the Democratic advantage among independents was probably less revealing than the fact that the party carried them at all, especially in a period of such economic unease. The party controlling the White House has not won independents in the national vote for the House in any midterm election since at least 1982, according to exit polls. While Republicans held the presidency, Democrats won independent voters by double-digits in House elections in the midterms of 2018, 2006 and 1986, according to exit polls. While Democrats held the presidency, Republicans won independents by double-digits in House elections in the midterms of 2014, 2010 and 1994. In each of the past two midterms, the party out of the White House (Democrats in 2018 and Republicans in 2014) won independents by a resounding 12 percentage points, the exit polls found. The GOP’s severe under performance of that standard allowed Democrats to finish unexpectedly well last month even though Republican voters, extending the usual midterm pattern for the party out of the White House, participated in larger numbers than Democrats. Another measure of that hesitation came in the national exit poll. Overall the survey found that a virtually identical share of voters nationwide, just over half, said they viewed the GOP and the Democratic Party each as "too extreme.” But independents were much more likely to stamp that label on the GOP. While the share of independents who considered Democrats extreme exceeded the share who did not by a narrow four percentage points, the gap for Republicans was 18 points. Nearly two-thirds of independents with college degrees, and exactly three-fifths of female independents, said they viewed the GOP as too extreme, considerably more than in either group that identified Democrats in that way, according to detailed results from the CNN polling unit. That pattern suggests Republicans are unlikely to regain an Electoral College majority and recapture the White House in 2024 unless they can pry away more independents from the coalition that has now staunchly rejected Trump’s vision for America over three consecutive elections. And Democrats, watching the GOP again almost completely avoid direct criticism of Trump amid his latest provocations, see few signs Republicans are willing to do what that would likely require. "I don’t think these fundamentals are going to drastically change,” says Fernandez Ancona. "The pieces are in place right now for us to be able to continue to grow this anti-MAGA majority.”

They're poor public speakers, and yes, a lot of people will perceive that as being unintelligent which is just a fact of human nature. It's also true that when squaring off against pretty much any other candidate, Biden would likely lose by a wide margin. Ironically though, republican primary voters are the real bumbling fools in all of this because instead of lining up behind good candidates, they nominate disingenuous grifters like Dr Oz, or disgusting incompetent traitors like Trump. So yea, when faced with those two choices, only idiots would act surprised that guys like Biden were elected to the highest office in the land.
