I met Van Jones a few years ago. He runs an organization that helps economically disadvantaged kids learn to code, so Im guessing that's what its for.

That sounds like a good organization, I hope they have the right people though. People who code need to also have a strong basic education, and some in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods just are not getting even the basics. If you can't do basic math and have a reasonable understanding of the world, knowing "how to code" is useless. Coding is really just problem solving, and software is an incredibly flexible tool to solve those problems.

But the two things that stick out to me is the how both guys used technology to build up their company and how they treated (or treat) their workforce. Although Bezos pays a little better - $20 an hour instead of $20 a week.
