EaglesRocker97
This is just the first in what will likely be a series of increasingly desperate maneuvers by the TX GOP to stop TX from inevitably flipping blue.

jsdarkstar
Just now, ToastJenkins said: or leave it to the states as the Constitution would have it... or do we just discard principles when the ends justify the means? Not when the States Like Texas and Florida try to suppress the vote and discriminate against minorities. I guess making people guess how many Jelly Beans are in the Jar or having a Poll Tax is ok with you as long as the States pass those rules.
ToastJenkins
we are so fortunately to have emotional children like JS here to tell us what should and should not happen. news flash JS, you are not enlightened in any way. just b/c you feel something strongly doesn't mean its a rational, well-thought out argument. none of the ID laws infringe on any of the constitutional protections, so long as everyone is treated the same. if I need to show an ID to pick up a prescription or get on a plane, certainly something as "sacred" as an election can warrant the same treatment.
