Yet, Biden still got 81 Million votes. A Record.

Because he was running against Trump, the greatest gift to voter mobilization that the left will ever see.

Keep your head in the sand and watch what happens. FL has gone from battle ground to red thanks to the woke idiots.

I believe I heard that they were also going to significantly reduce the number of urban polling locations.

I didn't see that, even in NPR or liberal outlets.  Keyword searching for polling on the bill itself:

  • Polling station has to be in a building, not a tent or temp structure
  • The early voting polling place has to be at a county clerk's branch office, but the county clerk can also designate other locations in their approval

Those certainly sound like restrictions that would effectively limit the amount of polling places that could be set up in certain locales.

Yeah, and in one of these future election cycles Texas is going to turn Blue, thanks to Republicans immigration policies, failure to improve the energy grid, and attempt to keep people away from the polls.

Temp structures like tents limit...urban voters...in cities...with buildings?

Yes, because you have a larger population to serve in smaller, more numerous precincts and will likely have trouble finding enough vacant buildings that can serve as temporary polling locations.

And this is the other side of the coin. Instead of placating ex-President man-baby with these ridiculous voting laws that solve a made-up problem, the GOP should be pounding the Democrats = socialists message 24/7. Don't give the Dems this gift of saying the GOP is trying to stop minorities from voting. You're finally starting to break the Dem stranglehold on minority voters, and you decide to do the ONE THING that will push them back to the left.

Both parties are just monumentally stupid.

I wish I knew why so many people have a hard time seeing this simple truth.

Ok.  I wasn't aware how often tents are used for polling places.  Mine have always been a church or community center that volunteered to be a polling station.

How about a voting revival tent  ?

Meh.  I'd say Dems have fumbled over North Carolina because of the woke left, but Florida is really about a host of other demographic reasons.  It's a deep south state with the most conservative leaning hispanic community in the country, not to mention, very likely, the stupidest state in the nation.

The other part of FL that is the deep South is the Panhandle. The more South you up the more they are like the North.

Cosmopolitan Florida is its own thing.  I don't think it resembles any northern city.

Believe it or not, Florida is about middle of the pack in terms of educational attainment, and its public schools/universities are consistently ranked among the best in the nation. Definitely something in the water down there, though. Florida Man is real, and he's high on meth, coming to eat your face.

Look into what? Complaints from a loser who can't accept he lost? There is zero basis for an investigation. There has been nothing presented to law enforcement or in a courtroom that suggests there is something to investigate. The "evidence" that has been presented by Trumplicans in court wilts under the most basic scrutiny - it's simply butthurt Trumpers who can't believe Trump lost.

That's not nearly good enough.

Not to mention 100s of audits and recounts that have happened across the nation that have turned up nothing.

Three Texas Democrats who fled to Washington, D.C. test positive for coronavirus

Well played. You sure showed them.

Imagine the reaction if they were Republicans. Fled the state, shirking their responsibility to their job, knowingly breaking the law and bragging about it on social media, all of them on a plane with no masks, 3 of them get COVID.

Meanwhile msnbc and cnn top stories are all about Trump, Republicans and fear mongering (the thing Fox news does that liberals love mocking). CNN first page doesn't mention the Democrats with COVID, msnbc at least has a link buried toward the bottom. You know if this were Republicans it would be a top story with outrage.

I guess they were all vaccinated, and it was a private charter, so it doesn't appear they were violating any regulation or guidance. Still, although the risk of transmission is extremely low on airplanes, this is dumb to me. I will continue to mask up in indoor public spaces for the foreseeable future, especially when locked into extremely close proximity with groups of people for an extended period of time, like riding an airplane.
