Because he one of the top 2 WRs on the team, why would you think he'd be a low volume guy?

Look I like Quez, I like what he can bring to this team. But if he's a top 2 WR on this roster then my god this is bad.

Who do you think is better than him outside of maybe Smith?

I fell asleep somewhere in the 3rd, did Jason Huntly get on the field, I'm thinking he should be a better option than Gainwell.

He had more touches then gainwell

How'd he look?

Gainwell had more total yards.

He didn't get a lot of space to work but, he looked quick. They were sporadic touches though, by the time I realized who had the ball they were ready for the next play. These new numbers are going to take some getting used too.

Yes I know, that isn't what he asked though.

Fulgham and Reagor don't care? How so?

Not showing up in practice, coming into camp and not passing your conditioning test. Fulgham was reported to not practice like he was before he made the 5 week stretch and got benched for it. Jalen seems to think he is way better than he is and I think his draft position is why. He was given the starting job last season , he never earned it. This is two years out of two he hasn’t come in shape. That’s not a good sign.

Quez is easily the better player so far. In my opinion Jalen won’t be on the team in a year or two.

My opinion he should be our fourth guy and let him return punts and make him a gunner to hopefully light a fire under his ass and get him to realize that he needs to start taking his role seriously and stop letting things he can easily control affect him negatively.  Once you put on the pads your even with everyone , just because you were drafted high doesn’t mean you own a starting position. I want the players who are producing and showing passion.

Yes.  The cloud is lifted and the team is responding now.  Said it before but the Eagles will be better than people think.  We have a bunch of guys who can play.

Put Reagor in the slot and see if he can make catchs and head to the endzone instead of head out fo bounds, he did it again last night on that catch on the left sidelines, I only saw the corner with him, with a simple cutback inside the corner wouldn't have been able to recover as he was heading to the sidelines, looks to me he would have had a green grass all the way to the endzone.

... yeah ... simple ...

You kidding.  Man some yall just negative if not big name wr. Dude has potential. Gotta start somewhere. Have know idea what he'll be. From what I've seen he's scores tds. Will  be good target or stretch the field for other receivers. Fast and looks a lot more durable then DeSean jackson.

I'm not saying that you're wrong... But that being the case this offense is in serious trouble.

I'm not disputing that he's got talent! But he's not a #2 WR on a good team that's all I'm saying.

Had nothing to do with where he was drafted.

I did like what I saw from the first two defensive units. They seems like they were running around and were getting physical out there. The offense was still a bit of a question mark for me because they did seem a little out of sync and I have no clue what they will really run in games. I need to see much more before I’m ready to say how good this coaching staff is.

I curious to see what the Eagles coaches do for a big WR, you should have at least one on the team, I'm leaning towards Hakeem Butler, Whiteside and Fulgham doesn't do it for me.

Last year was a disaster... no way new regime could do worse. Least it's their first year. Everything has been a positive. They are obviously coming out firing. This year's unknowns, coaches and players, may shock the league. I'm hoping so anyways, because I see potential. Some players and coaches had to go. Those loyal to old players like Peter's, how much you paid them, and coaching staffs that couldn't keep players healthy or put them in the right position to succeed.

The win now mentality of using vets last season was a big disaster for the Eagles as a team. This was especially strange when the odds of the Eagles making the playoffs had diminished, there was no reason to destroy the growth of the younger players. Pulling Fulgham and even JJAW (sure it may have not amounted to much) for a hobbled Alshon. I feel the Eagles have been snubbing the growth of their younger players by bringing in and keeping vets like Peters over Dillard.

Hopefully they will give the youth a chance and opportunity to work out some of the growing pains.

The Eagles have put themselves in a position where they have no choice but to retool and not rebuild, because they have so many contracts tied into older veterans with extended years. Bottom line is they can’t get young because they’re so old. That’s certainly on Howie for sure. With that being the case rebuilds don’t always work either. It seems like the Lions have been rebuilding for over 10 years now. Some teams have been at the bottom of the drafts for decades but still found players. Howie needs to do much better at drafting period.

They also can't get young because they can't draft.

Howie gonna Howie.

A few signs of good coaching:

1. Crisp flow in practices and games
2. Low amount of penalties- great sign of good coaching

So far, the Eagles show both

I am not advocating to a full rebuild, but the previous example I gave on insisting to play Alshon instead of Fulgham is inexcusable. Fulgham was the hot hand, but instead they decided they need to get Alshon involved even though he was not producing.

I have a feeling the staff they had was not at all good at developing players, and instead relied on vets which were already developed earlier or elsewhere. I think we will see a lot of Agholor for example this season. The Eagles with him wanted a player that could stretch the field, and with the Raiders he did exactly that.

Perhaps it was poor coaching or maybe it’s just poor talent evaluation, but I personally believe the FO had more to do with Jeffery playing than anything else. Still I think there’s a book growing on Fulgham that he isn’t the best practice player.
