Dude, have you read the blog ?? afan is quite clear that 2nd and 3rd rounders mean nothing in evaluating the draft, its all about how those7th rounders and UDFA's pan out.

I do sometimes wonder if Howie is paid to the heat for Jeffrey's inexplicable decisions on draft day(s). If so Howie has a job as long as Jeffrey fancies himself a personnel guru.

These are the type of posts that are normally created after a regular season loss.

Let’s be clear on these late round picks too, because none of those guys have elevated their games to pro bowl level players either. In many cases now it’s not even a case of Howie doing a good job of selecting lower level talent. It’s more a case pf Howie throwing darts at a dart board and hoping something sticks. 

If only Jeffrey Lurie saw the truth. Shame he doesn't. Overcoming obstacles shouldn't include intentionally manufacturing your own obstacles.

Yeah, we are way past the point of defending under the rationale that most first round picks are never pro-bowlers, most 2nd round picks don't pan out, etc.  We can dismiss any individual bust as "the draft is a crapshoot."

We are now at the point of...OK...show me what good draft picks they've ever made.  Show me a single, a double, and a HR over 10 years of drafting.

Howie is like the government. He causes the problems then sells that he's the only one who can fix it.
