I'm done with Howard he clearly is not the same anymore and hasn't done much of anything in 3 years now and 4 years removed from being that back that was one of the best runners in the league. He has zero versatility and teams know exactly what is coming with him on the field 

I think you're right with Howard.  He was never the same after that stinger.  He should consider taking Ivermectin to help step up his game.

The Eagles made some changes to their active roster on Thursday.

Defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway is back with the team after being cut earlier this week as the team dropped to 53 players. The Eagles had space open up for Ridgeway because they placed tackle Jack Driscoll, tight end Tyree Jackson, and cornerback Josiah Scott on injured reserve.

The Eagles have left two spots on the 53-man roster open for the moment.

Ridgeway appeared in 14 games for the Eagles over the last two seasons. He had 19 tackles and three sacks in those appearances. Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, Marlon Tuipulotu, and Milton Williams are the other defensive tackles in Philly.

The Eagles also signed tight end Nick Eubanks, wide receiver KeeSean Johnson, and defensive tackle Marvin Wilson to the practice squad.

Don't understand why Ridgeway was not on the roster on cut-down.  He is a better player than Tuipulotu.  If they want to keep Tui, PS should be the place and he should make it thru waiver OK. 

There are still 2 open spots on the roster.  FO must be working on some deals.  What would that be?

No waiver claim by the team so far.  Or the last 3 players signed were claims?

The Eagles probably had intelligence that another team would have either claimed or signed Tuipulotu if they waived him.  In any event, Ridgeway went unclaimed, so the Eagles handled that correctly.

They knew they could use his spot at the deadline then bring him back immediately.  Roster gymnastics done by every team in the league on cutdown day.

They claimed a DB from the Colts a few minutes ago.

Playing the game bud. They knew there was a good chance Ridgeway makes it through waivers whereas Tui was a bit more of a risk because he's a young talent. Ridgeway is a known player and it was less likely a team would claim him.
