Even still, when this subsides, he'll surge back into the lead after people realize Bidens biggest challenge is keeping his teeth inside his skull and why the Dems have been hiding him.
May 4, 20205 yr If it wasn’t for coronavirus... Yeah, Mike, he’s botched the response to the only real crisis he’s faced.

I bet you wouldn't have blamed him for that at all Wow. This is truly one of the dumbest takes I've ever read. They failed across the board on testing (what you call having Q-Tips shoved into your brain, normal people call testing) and contact tracing. It wouldn't have necessarily had to include shutting the entire country down either, that's something that we were forced into thanks to earlier failures. We actually had a very real window where we could have ramped it up in a hurry and averted the long term pain that we're now forced into, but Trump and his administration failed to act while blaming others. There are some success stories globally. But not here, unfortunately. Your guy screwed up bad and we're all paying for it. It's weird that you're still on board with such an epic failure.
May 4, 20205 yr China’s secrecy and lack of transparency on Corona combined with Trump’s incompetence has been a truly lethal combination. If this gets him re-elected then who knows what insanity lies ahead.
May 4, 20205 yr He didn’t just say the spreading of the virus was a hoax, he said it was the "democrats new hoax.” so even worse, he lied, downplayed the virus, and blamed it on someone else. A trump three way!

You all were dead wrong So who created the fake rally where the guy who looked and sounded just like Trump called it a hoax? Was it the same guy who made it look like Trump called NSDAPs very fine people?

So should Trump have mandated that the entire country be tested? That definitely would have worked for sure. People love the government forcing them to take a q-tip to the brain. Face it, nothing was going to be able to prevent the quarantining. We still have people traveling and gathering in large groups... Its almost like you want authoritarian Trump until you get him, then hes destroying our Democracy

Its almost like you want authoritarian Trump until you get him, then hes destroying our Democracy So your reason why it’s okay that Trump sheet the bed and now thousands are dying and millions are unemployed is that people would have been mad if he had handled it the right way? Really? I hate to tell you, Mike, but Presidenting is a hard job. You’re not going to please everyone all the time. But if he had done the right thing, ramped up testing when it was sorely needed and saved American lives, the criticism wouldn’t have been nearly as bad as it is now. Unfortunately, he didn’t and we’re all paying for it now Also, not sure if you noticed, but liberals aren’t the ones paying protesters to take to the streets and scream in cops‘ faces. No one I know would have had a problem taking a test. That’s the irresponsible children on the right. And some militia loser complaining about taking a test is a small price to pay for saving thousands.
May 5, 20205 yr Hilarious how hard all the TDSers are pushing the "Trump botched it!" narrative--as if he could somehow prevent the coronavirus from coming into the US in any realistic way--because they know that a crashed coronavirus economy is the only chance they have of getting Trump out of office You dont even know what "ramped up testing" means....are you saying mandatory testing for the entire country? You dont know, youre just repeating this because youve been trained to push the party line in hopes that enough people die, and the economy crashes hard enough, that you can blame Trump and elect a semi-conscious Joe Biden. Not going to happen

Not going to happen. Who said anything about mandatory testing for all? Ramped up means exactly what is means, maybe you should look up the definition before claiming someone else doesn’t know what it means. So you don’t believe increased testing would have helped us? It’s not entirely trumps fault that testing has been a total debacle, but the lack of testing has made this worse and forced lock downs that may have been prevented. Increasing the amount of testing would have save lives and livelihoods.

Not going to happen Imma tell you right now, I really don't blame Trump hardly at all for the deaths so far. However the severity of the next wave is going to be almost totally on him. He refused to do national tracing, he continues to egg on irresponsibility& ignorance, and has tethered defiance of social distancing to his brand. I absolutely believe 200k + will die in the US and Trump will neither get his death targets or his economy.

Not going to happen Again, "the left" isn't the one's out there in the streets, spreading the virus in some manufactured call for freedom. The left, by and large, is staying home and doing their part to contain the virus. So, no, "the left" isn't just not hoping for more people die, they're trying to comply with the stay-at-home orders and then some, to help keep the death to a minimum. If anyone's hoping the virus spreads, it's "the right" (even though I'm aware that those idiots are a very small percentage of the right, but it's no one on the left). And no one's calling for mandatory testing. You're calling increased testing "mandatory" because you think that sounds scary. An across the board increase in testing in the early stages of this crisis would in no way have needed to be mandatory. People would've been happy to "have a q-tip shoved into their brain", as you call it, because they either had symptoms or had someone they knew that did, and they wanted to know if they had the virus. Most people aren't as stupid as these protestors. They're more concerned with the health of themselves and their family then playing cosplay in a politically-motivated protest.

As a moderate and someone who thinks that, above all else, this country needs a president who brings stability and isn't going to rock the boat and stoke the flames of hatred between different races and religions in this country... I can't imagine a more qualified candidate. This country needs a chance to cool down. I get that conservatives want a true conservative and progressives want a true progressive. But do you know what would change if we went from Donald Trump to Bernie Sanders? Or Donald Trump to Ted Cruz? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Biden isn't going to do anything to piss anyone off. That's what's going to lower the ambient political temperature and provide an opportunity to have real, honest conversations between groups of differing demographics.
