It was active during both Trump and Biden administrations in fact. It is now called the COVID-19 Response Team. And certainly the COVID-19 tide had not turned by Jan. 20. Vaccines had been developed, but they still needed to be distributed.

Seems like they're underselling him quite a bit honestly. I mean, we're talking a guy who's face should be on all of our money already, and he's only a few months into what a lot of people are saying could and should be a 12 or possibly 16 year reign of greatness for America. The one line that stands out to me is "His connections to the people in this room. I'm not even sure all of them are deserving of it, but he does not care". Very true. Even though some of these people like Cruz/Hawley openly hate America and want nothing more than to transform it into a fascist hell scape, Biden extends a hand anyway and makes that connection. It's Christ-like in a lot of ways.

Pfizer didn't mobilize FEMA to get millions more shots in arms at a pace that doubled Biden's original goal. Pfizer and Moderna deserve credit for getting production levels up that quickly, and Biden deserves credit for accelerating the distribution of those vaccines to the public.
