Are they really beneath contempt?   You think it was done on purpose and not a mistake?    Also, there was the OTHER recording that was already released with the higher GA state official (and Trump is being investigated for crimes in connection with that).  So what's your point?  Trump still acted unlawfully and also made up lies about election fraud for months.   This doesn't change a thing -- its like pointing out a typo.

I actually don't think that most (or every) wrong thing you read is malicious.  Most journalists work on tight deadlines and are rushing to beat the competition.  I believe most are inadvertent errors, sometimes made in haste.  Only conspiracy theorists attribute reporting errors to evil intent 100% of the time.

I'm old.   But I really don't think everything reported which is later discovered to not be entirely accurate is due to evil intent.   And the fact is, Trump violated the law, as recorded on the other phone call - so what's the difference?
