They are about to be deemed obsolete and replaced by AI. It is beyond time everybody does some critical research into their media and entertainment outlets. AI is cheap, human thought that requires effort costs more to produce. But we are all conditioned to accept "free" media. The old adage rings true: If you are not paying for a product, then you are the product.

The company cited "challenging economic realities" and a shift in radio programming strategies as reasons behind the decision. About 700 affiliated stations nationwide carry CBS News Radio programming, which will end on May 22. All jobs on the radio team will be eliminated, the company said.
