GDT: Philadelphia Eagles @ Detroit Lions, 10-31-21 1PM EST

Ladies and Gentlemen, the only team in the NFL worse than us.

That being said, Goff has an 82% completion rate against our defense.

Wow that was dumb by Detroit

Milton Williams was a great pick. This might end up being Howies best draft class.

Sack again and 0 points. This is why the Lions are 0-7. You take the points there.

So will Duce be Detroit's HC by the end of the season?

4 & inches and Campbell calls a passing play...what an idiot

nice pass on 4th and inches, sack.

but Goff's completion percentage is so high, why do the Lions have no points?

dink dunk dink dunk dink dunk sack punt

The excellent completion percentage against the Eagles continues

Maybe so but you can't say it would've worked just because it works against the Lions.

It would have helped the offense.  We probably would have lost most of the games we have because our defense isn't good against good offenses either but you need something representing a balance in your offense.

I know it’s the lions but that’s the best 1st half for a long time

We still have the Dolphins and Jets. But the Eagles are definitely bottom 5.

I still think Goff might be a good fit if we could get him cheap.

Matt Ryan's hand got stepped on by a cleat earlier was all bloody

It's like watching Madden it really is. Like it's all about the completion %. It's quite ridiculous how we just give up so many soft easy completions.

I get that out D has been a lot better so far today. 4 sacks and much more aggressive but still giving up the easy passes. And I mean what was that final drive about? OK we came away with the big play but it was so soft again.

Better to take a sack then throw the ball away and risk and inccomplete pass?

0 points for the Lions.

Hurts sucks.

Jesus f'ing Christ what a braindead move drafting him.

Such a liability at the position.

When you have a legit worst team than the Eagles larping as a football team and you want to "get right", you should see some evidence of it against such a team in all areas.

Yeah, running success and defense showing a pulse aside, Eagles would be getting blown out against anyone else.

That is all. Eat a dong Howie.

I guess the problem they had there was the clock? If you run it or sneak it you burn another few seconds and have to use your final time out. And then you either have to risk a shot at the end zone and leave some time on the clock or you kick the FG anyway....

Basically they should have taken the points. But Campbell is an aggressive guy so he's got to make aggressive calls I guess. Otherwise he comes off as disingenuous.

Interesting you bring this up, I was actually thinking about this scenario the other day if Howie could swing a deal.

He'd definitely be an upgrade at the QB position.

That’s what I was going to say.  We look like a football team again.  People coaching for their jobs now.  We’ve always had some talent.

Wow Wentz got lucky. Ran still won't slide and the ball got punched out on the way down

Oh my god please no! Goff is a horrible QB. He's not a starter for a team that's serious about being a contender.

We need Indy to win. They need a reason to keep starting Wentz down the stretch.

4th and inches and they don't QB sneak? Definitely a 0-7 team

there was no point to a sneak, with 17 seconds left and only one timeout left, the sneak takes 4 seconds, and forcing the use of the timeout, all the sneak buys is one endzone shot, nothing else.

I think it was less than 17 wasnt it? I think it was 13... So you may not even get the end zone shot.

Sorry but no, I’d take Trubisky over Goff.   The worst part about him is that he doesn’t have a weak arm, he’s scared to throw it deep, that’s what drove McVay nuts.

Maybe so. I'd bet you're right, but it's more than I know.
