Wentz wanted out.

Wentz gave up on us that's the simple reality.

We need Indy to win. They need a reason to keep starting Wentz down the stretch.

Yeah, this game is huge for the Eagles.

If the Colts win this game and Wentz is healthy the rest of the way, pretty good chance we're getting the first-rounder.

Also true that the fans gave up on him.

We still have the Dolphins and Jets. But the Eagles are definitely bottom 5.

And the Broncos,  Giants twice and Washington twice.

If the Lions are bad, and they are,  teams like Tampa Bay and the Chiefs are good.

I've noticed that many Eagles fans are completely incapable of recognizing that the Eagles are playing a good team, when they're playing a good team,  but readily understand when the Eagles are playing a bad team.

I thought the Eagles were better than the Raiders,  so that outcome was a bit of a surprise.

In terms of teams that seem worst than the Eagles - Texans, Jaguars, Washington, Giants.

You might be right but we handled the whole situation horribly... should've never drafted Hurts to begin with in the 2nd.

there was no point to a sneak, with 17 seconds left and only one timeout left, the sneak takes 4 seconds, and forcing the use of the timeout, all the sneak buys is one endzone shot, nothing else.

I think it was less than 17 wasnt it? I think it was 13... So you may not even get the end zone shot.

Brain dead move by the Lions. 4th down with that little time left, you take the points.

I still think Goff might be a good fit if we could get him cheap.

Matt Ryan's hand got stepped on by a cleat earlier was all bloody

The Eagles don't want that albatross of a contract

They are not going to bench him for sheets and giggles. Plus, they're not going to be out of the playoff picture with 5 to go anyway. Go Titans.

Wentz played like garbage (and it wasn't just in 2020) and yeah the fans started to question him. He was one of the worst QBs in the NFL last year and then as soon as he was benched he decided he wanted out. Couldn't handle the pressure, couldn't handle a RB playing at QB as competition.

Sorry but no, I’d take Trubisky over Goff.   The worst part about him is that he doesn’t have a weak arm, he’s scared to throw it deep, that’s what drove McVay nuts.

McVey dumped him.  That’s all you need to know.  Look at the Rams now.

That's true but once Howie and Lurie made that moronic draft pick the fate was set.

Yeah I agree. You're only down by 17 against a team you know isn't very good and tends to be a pretty bad 3rd quarter team.

Hurts is likely to be 3-5 after this game.  Wentz was 3-8-1.   The Eagles are better with Hurts.

Yeah our team is the same as last year... the offense was a train wreck with no talent. No QB could succeed with that. Jalen made some nice plays with his leg but it would've never sustained.

What are the odds they get relaxed and lose the lead

the 2rd round QB is doing better than the $30 Million QB, and the Eagles save $30 Million.

What's the problem?

Incomplete.

Let’s hope the second half is as good as the first. Lots of time to go but the Lions look completely lost.

This is weird , not throwing at all now ?

All day and nothing.

Hurts runs for a 1st.

Zero creativity with the route design in our plays.
