6’6” 350 lbs

He’s a monster, on a great Georgia defense that  is going to be sending a number of players to the NFL.  Davis has been mocked as high as 12 but he’s super raw and needs work, especially at the point of attack.
He only plays on 1st and 2nd down, unless there’s 3rd and short, but they don’t happen very often because you can’t run through him and he has to be double teamed on nearly every play, this dude is such a force that he disrupts everything, imagine how good he can be when he gets NFL coaching.

Yeeeees - complete defensive rebuild.

In terms of valuable input - if Gannon wants to play the run with a light box he’s going to need formidable run stuffers (actual NT) and LBs that can shed/ and can play zone. On the backend, smart CBs and talented Safeties are a good combo for a C2 / 2-high team.

Love the player, but wouldn't he be better suited for a 3-4?

If he's at 350lb already, can only imagine him in a few years.

Yeah I mean I think he'd help this defense start to stuff the run but not sure he fits a DL that wants to be aggressive? Mind you that probably makes him a perfect player for Gannon!

I like him a lot and hope the Eagles use a first rounder on him.  He can play 0, 1, 3, 5 techniques.  And he is not just a two-gapper.

Look at him move:

Just needs to take care of his body and manage his weight.

Albert Haynesworth with a good attitude… get’em.

I guess it depends on how committed Gannon is to multiple fronts, as we don’t have a quality NT in a 3-man line. Also, how much of a Zimmer disciple is he? Zimmer’s NTs are space/block eaters that keep LBs clean - think Linval Joseph or Domata Peko.

If JD is too rich for your blood - maybe Phil Mathis or Travis Jones?

I think the most snaps he played was about 50 versus Tennessee, but he was typically managed at 25-35 snaps/game. Obviously, in order to make an early 1st round investment make sense he’ll need to prove that he can provide quality reps above the 33%-50% threshold expected at UGA. I believe Vince Wilfork was able to get 60% for context, and given that UGA has been winning games by 30 points most of the year (where a run stuffer isn’t exactly needed in the 2nd half) - I’m not saying he can’t.

I like this guy around pick #19 for the Eagles.

I’d like to think that since he’s kind of a niche player, he might slide a little. But Dx.Lawrence wasn’t as good IMO, but still got selected at #17 if remember correctly.

We may need to take him with our first pick. i think this is a position of need for the Eagles.

Last year there was Fletcher Cox trade talks. What if?

Take Jordan Davis at 14.

JD99 might be broccoli to some folks, but I'm still of the opinion that he's niche player that we're missing.  Vita Vea has been integral to the TB defense, dissuading inside runs and allowing their fast LB corps to fly around without picking through the trash, and essentially making opposing offenses one-dimensional quickly.

Otherwise, my mock here is a freak wishlist.

Would take this guy with one of our picks if he’s available ? Anyone see his 4.78 40?

Definitely get this guy if available with 15.  Freakbeast.   Compare to the alltime best OL and DL over 300 pounds.

He's definitely getting catapulted up the draft boards now. I'm questioning whether he makes it to us at 15.

I’d rather have Neil Farrell Jr in the later rounds.

I would question that.  The Ravens could take him,  the Browns could take him.

If we don't give away all our picks for Watson...

With signing of Haason Reddick, Jordan Davis is moving up my board.

I expect Fletcher Cox to get traded/moved around June so it's not a salary cap hit.
