And that's not to say he's going to be better than Ertz by the way. Ertz is a HoF player but I do think as a TE Goedert has more potential. 

He's more of a complete TE then Ertz. He's a better blocker and his route running is smoother and more precise then Ertz imo. That's not a shot a Ertz. He's a great player

The cap is an issue.

Goederts cap hit is only 3.7M next year. Mailata is already in there. The first round picks won’t have a 15M hit. Devonta Smiths is only 3.6 this year as a 10th pick. Also the rest of the rookies will take a lot of those spots. They will only take 5-6M. We have to add Maddox in now but the Eagles will still have over 20M with the Brooks move. We can even sign 3-4 decent free agents. The cap is fine.

The Eagles are locking up their own young players who are about to enter in the prime of their careers. What is the mistake here?

Yea I don't understand why people are upset. These are bargains imo. Get them done now before other's set the market. They're are also entering their prime.

Contracts in football don’t really mean anything. The Eagles right now have like over 60 mil in dead cap money yet still have the cash to make these contracts you’re complaining about bud. Don’t worry about it.

Please read carefully. Was not complaining about the contracts.

This is why fans aren’t good GM’s. One post said bargain deal the one under it says we way over paid. Fans generally don’t know what the hell we are talking about.
