The Defense was able to really rest and take over games because the offense got up so early in games. They had the right amount of offensive and defensive talent (especially a few free agent pieces) chosen by the hated Howie. They brought in offensive coaches with known productive offensive scheme backgrounds and used that to exploit the young QB's best QB traits and abilities. A young coach who the player rallied around and it was a prefect storm of a season.
