But I think in suburban areas you might see a similar, though muted, effect you'd see in red areas. Remember: Trump didn't lose PA in Philly or Pittsburgh. Biden actually did WORSE in those counties in 2020 than Hillary did in 2016. Biden won PA by doing 2-3 pts better consistently in the 55 or so red/rural counties than Hillary did. Biden of course didn't win those counties, but he closed the gap enough that the point or two he lost in Philly/Pittsburgh still resulted in a net gain of what, 100k votes? I think I might have sold John short on suburban support. And that's after having a stroke.
