Try some personal hygiene. Oh and even those of us vaccinated like my wife who is immunocompromised you can still kill doing something like that.
December 19, 20213 yr I am conflicted about the postponement. I want the Eagles to play right now. They are ready to go. But clearly Washington is dealing with an outbreak. I don’t want the Eagles to catch the virus from them, so they have to deal with this next week or after. So postponing makes sense. Give Washington a couple extra days to let the virus clear, so when they play nobody gets infected. But they’re still having Washington practice over these extra few days. So if there is virus circulating amongst the team, it’s not going to stop. That’s BS. If they’re postponing because they’re worried about players spreading the virus, then they ought to shut down the teams that have the outbreak. Washington should be holding virtual practices until they show up to play on Tuesday; with the players that have cleared testing. Otherwise, they could shown up to play today with the players they have available.

As noted, I would next week make adjustments to the schedule so ALL teams that had games moved this week would play on Monday (including switching the Sunday and Monday Night Football games).

I amend this proposal slightly - The Browns, Rams, and Washington, who caused this mess in the first place, don't get to flex their games next week. The Eagles and Seahawks who play on Tuesday, get flexed to Monday. The Raiders, who are playing Monday this week, they can stay on Sunday. And the Browns, who are scheduled to play on Saturday again, they can play the super-short week.

December 21, 20213 yr Author Interesting: Actually, what the Eagles and the NFL should have done was ask the Islanders (who host the Capitals) and Penguins (who host the Flyers) to move their Thursday 12/23 games to 1:00 PM so the Flyers-Capitals game could be moved to Friday 12/24 at 1:00 or 2:00 PM. EDITED TO ADD: I wrote what I did before the NHL decided to go on pause after tomorrow night as all but one game tonight (Monday) was postponed and Capitals-Flyers is now one of just two games going tomorrow night (Lightning-Golden Knights the other) due to a huge number of COVID outbreaks in the NHL that already had postponed all cross-border games until December 27, with now ALL games postponed until then.

They told all of us Flyers season ticket holders they tried to reschedule with the Caps but couldn't. Also, don't know if you like Olympic hockey but this pretty much kills NHL players playing in Beijing.

Agree that it likely kills Beijing, but a lot of people would rather the US not go anyway due to the political climate in China (though the NHL could simply put the season back a few weeks if need be because unlike 2018, the World Cup isn't until November and is in Qatar as I have always believed in 2018, NHL owners actually feared Putin go after them if in Putin's mind the Stanley Cup Finals overlapped and by doing so overshadowed HIS World Cup as apparently Putin may have had (and still has) kompromat on a number of NHL owners). And it has since turned out that game was postponed because of COVID issues on the Capitals, so the parking issue is now moot.

Last cold weather game I ever went too lol I think the Eagles got completely thrown off their rhythm as they had to deal with a snowstorm at their homes before that. The NFL probably would have there had that game on Monday on ESPN nationally (and NBC stations locally) in addition to their scheduled game and gave NBC an extra prime time game the following season but I believe then-NBC-Universal Chairman Jeff Zucker demanded the game remain on NBC because that was right before Comcast took over as NBC's parent and Zucker knew he was being forced out I believe as a condition of that sale.
