This is why Hurtz is not a good QB, he can't read the defense to know where the open man will be before they are open,  that is why he is slow with his release, he has to wait until he actually sees a receiver open.

Sweat has hit the qb twice today. But overall yes. He got the money and has greatly underperformed as is the Philly way.

The thing that pisses me off about Hurts the most is his inability to read his options. He sticks with the hot route every single time. Man has so many games to improve on that and he simply does not. Vick had that same problem. It’s infuriating and it costs points and likely games

I can't remember any QB that played for the eagles as the number 1 overall QB miss so many open guys. I don't mean throwing the ball thier way, and having the pass go incomplete, I mean just seeing them. It's uncanny!!

 

Okay, I’m happy with a tie game at this point. 

That play among many others if why I’m no sold on Hurts. He panics and focuses on one receiver. Goedert was wide open. Hurts arm and limited QB IQ is not something that’s gonna change imo.

Any competent QB hits the wide open TE and we have 7. But we have a RB playing QB.
