Smart. They worked the system before it's ironed out. Others teams that come up with similar situations might get questioned. They been playing all year sick, vaccinated or not. I'm just excited eagles secured spot in playoffs. Got 2 weeks to recover. New season once playoffs start, cause record don't mean squat. I love smash mouth football, running the rock. Time to get the underdog masks out, that contributed to the last superbowl win. Go eagles! Fight, fight, fight!

The whole  point of science is inconsistency.  It's constantly evolving.  We know more about things - covid, space travel, how to make polymers - today than we did yesterday.  We learn and grow.  The anti vax/anti test dummies don't get that part.

They're tested again during the week to clear protocol, but I think what's meant in the tweet by "they aren't tested again" is that they won't be randomly selected to be tested for future weeks, and thus not at risk of missing any games in the playoffs.

I think that's where the dots lead me to believe. It all hinges on there notion of random selection vs voluntarily submitting to testing. If that part is accurate, then yea coupled with the new 5-day protocol, I think that explains what we're seeing.

Exactly.  And most of the 12 guys on the list are likely to play very little if at all Saturday night,  so even if they take slightly longer to come off Covid IR they'll be ready for the first playoff game the following week with no chance of testing out.

EXACTLY.  The fact that some don't understand this is astounding.

The only negative I see about this is that it doesn't adversely effect the Giants and their draft picks!   Would love to hear Judge cry about us getting Covid, our players not being able to play and it effecting the Giants lmao
