January 17, 20223 yr Could be a 10 win season but could also be a 6 win one. Couple of interesting games on the schedule for sure.
January 17, 20223 yr At this point, I see 11-6. v NFC East - 4-2. v NFC North - 3-1 v AFC South - 3-1 v #2s - 1-2 I'm saying the Eagles lose to playoff teams and beat non playoff teams. The Eagles are a playoff team. Putting them at 19 against next year. 3 first round picks might make things look even better, but, as is. I'm assuming the Eagles are the 2nd best team in the NFC East again. 4 wins over Washington and New York. 4-0. NFC North and AFC South appear to be easier divisions. The Eagles are a playoff team the NFC North has 1 playoff team this year and AFC South has 1 playoff team. Cowboys, Cowboys, Packers, Titans, Cardinals, Steelers - those are the 6 playoff teams Washington, Washington, Giants, Giants, Vikings, Bears, Lions, Colts, Texans, Jaguars, Saints - those are the 11 non playoff teams. This is assuming 17 Hurts starts. 11-6. After the offseason free agency and the draft, the Eagles might look better, maybe they look like a team that can beat playoff teams, maybe they're 12-5 or better. There's always the chance that they could lose inexplicably to the Giants or something, so, instead of 11-6, 10-7 would be more reasonable. When looking at the other conferences, the Eagles schedule is actually easier than last year, or the same. Going from 4 (9ers) to 2 (Steelers without Ben and Cardinals) adds an additional playoff team. switching from the Afc West (chiefs and raiders) to the Afc north (titans) subtracts one playoff team. same number of playoff teams in nfc south (bucs) as the nfc north (packers). If the Eagles were to have beaten the non playoff teams, they would have gone 11-6. Losses to the Chargers and Giants took them to 9-8.
January 17, 20223 yr I dunno, looks like a 8 or 9 win season at best to me. The schedule is harder and I don't see us being much more improved.

Hurts is good enough to get enough wins to make a team look reasonable. But he's not good enough to take them to the next level and he's not bad enough to magnify the real issues.

Best case scenario would be to have either a really bad or really good season - then you know where you are at qb. Worst case - 8 or 9 wins, don't know where you're headed , don't know if you need another qb or not 🤷♂️. Anyway, next season. Hoping the Arizona game is late September or October. Be a good trip out there at that time of year.

Too bad that one is an away game. What makes you think Wentz will be with the Colts next year?
