The Eagles have advanced to the postseason and although the roster is aging at key positions, the organization is in a position their core group together going forward.

Philadelphia has three first-round picks, four of the top-44 picks in the 2022 NFL draft and they’ll have the 6th most upcoming cap space of any playoff team.

Only the Bengals, the Steelers, the Raiders, the Patriots, and Bucs are sitting with more comfort than the Eagles.

At the other end of the spectrum, only the Packers (-$45M) and the Cowboys (-$14M) are in worse predicaments.

Man Bengals are in a very good spot there. A QB under his rookie deal who's playing at a very high level and a lot of cap to add to that roster.

I guess they are modeled after the Tampa Rays of baseball.

Howie is a good cap guy, absolutely terrible draft guy

Agreed. And even then look I'm not sure I give him as much cap credit.

Impossible.  @downundermike weren't you complaining about the Eagles cap situation for 2022 even after the Wentz trade?

6th of playoff teams.  Bottom 3rd of the league overall, and we are last in the playoffs talent wise.
