January 18, 20223 yr I'm gonna go ahead and say it was dumb, we'd won 4 straight and 6 out of the last 7, the defense had looked better, the offense for the most part had run smoother. And then they pull most of the starters and not only that they do dumb crap like putting Kelce in for one snap to keep a streak going and Smith in to break the rookie record, then give up a 50 burger to the Cowboys in their own house. Maybe they were all legit COVID absences (but the streak and rookie record horseshit suggests not), game sharpness isn't something you can turn on and off, giving the starters a week off and then for them to turn up as half assed and unrehearsed as they did in Tampa was stupid, we probably lose to Tampa anyway, but maybe the team could've looked semi competent doing it.
January 18, 20223 yr Absolutely not. The Eagles has no answer for what was being thrown at them in any phase of the game. Once it became a game of "pass to catch up" in Q1, it was over.

Bucs and the GOAT were hands down better and blew our doors off. We stink and didn't belong on the same field.
January 18, 20223 yr Going with no. As everyone seems to agree, the Bucs are just that much better than us. We've had slow starts all season so why would this game be any different. In the end I think it was helpful to get a look at the younger guys. Not sure why Huntley wasn't returning kicks against the Bucs instead of Reagor after how much better he looked against Dallas.

To be honest I say no! All you have to do is look at Dallas yesterday. So happy and giddy last week beating our 2nd and 3rd string players. Yesterday it sucked to lose like that but all was not lost. We got to see Dallas choke once again, with a stacked team at home. That s my silver lining. We were playing with house money, we have started slow all season so playing Dallas with our backups did not matter in the final game of the regular season. Sure did not help Dallas. Nope, we need new starters including Q.B.

While I agree.....I think fans largely ate it up and enjoyed the crap the NFL was serving.
January 18, 20223 yr It was fun watching Dallas struggle against our backups, celebrate scoring against 3rd stringers and puffing their chests. Then losing in embarrassing way to the 49ers.
