The 2020 NFL schedule will be released on Thursday night 5/7 at 8:00 PM.

Any rumors? Comments?

If the Giants have to travel to Dallas again on week 1 (something like 5 times in 7 years) I'm going to flip.

I'm thinking they're going to position division games towards the end of the season in case they don't start on time.

Maybe the Giants will win a few more games without faccia di katzo at QB.

Back in the day this board used to have all sorts of clone users that posted as characters and always stuck to the profile. We need them back. This could be a great start.

And here I had no idea you could do tricks like that!

It will be interesting to see how the NFL takes into consideration the COVID-19 situation.  I would not be surprised if the league front loads the schedule with division games in case the regular season needs to be shortened.

Something to look forward to.

No leaks yet? What gives

Won't be announced til Thursday night. The teams don't get the news until that morning/afternoon, enough time for them to prepare their official website reveal at the designated hour.

I wonder if they'll release two versions, one full and one abbreviated in case a shortened season is needed.

I’m nimble brah.

Due to the possibility of a shortened season, I’m going to say the league won’t schedule a Black Friday game in London this year.

One of the rumors I hear is if they have to postpone the start of the season, they could move regular season games into January. So if they start playing week 5, weeks 1-4 would be played after week 17.

One thing I think they should do is schedule interconference games Week 1-4. So if they have to cancel the start of the season, these are the games have the least effect on standings and tiebreakers.

It's probably all wrong.

Or any in January on a Saturday when the college football season starts.

They're totally missing the boat on that one. Such a golden opportunity lost.

And others at this Twitter handle. Probably all wrong.

It's fake.

How are the schedules made by committee or computer?

NFL.com has a good story about that.  LINK

It takes hundreds of computers and five NFL executives to create the NFL’s 256-game masterpiece.

Lots of rumors already... supposedly weeks 1-4 are going to be NFC vs. AFC games yet there are leaks like that bucs schedule which clearly contradicts that. Haha not sure what to believe guess we have to wait and see!

Supposedly the Chiefs are opening against the Texans too, so as hard as it is to believe, someone on the internet is going to be wrong!

I got a notice from NBC Sports Philadelphia, speculating that we'd open against the Redskins.

That's what I'm expecting honestly and hoping for as chiefs have an easy home slate.  The other teams they play at home this year don't have a remote chance at keeping up with the chiefs O.

Wouldn't mind opening up in DC! That had a good end result back in 2017!
