Because I was drawing a blank after the first and my second word had completely different letters. I don't think you can do that when it's set to difficult, but like I said I forgot to change it after I found out about the settings yesterday.

LOL I actually thought the "hard mode" was people BS'ing. But it looks like the only difference is you need to use the green and yellow letters in appropriate positions, which I was doing anyway. I would think that's the quickest way to getting the correct answer.

Every here and there I will just draw a complete blank (probably because I do all these games in bed as soon as I wake) so trying a word with 5 completely different letters helps me. In the hard mode you can't do that even if you want to.
