I'm not sure you want to scroll thru that Tweet because the videos are just brutal.

Must have been a bunch of eagles fans there

How is this sport not more popular in the US? 🙄

I have this idea for a sport, perfect for you.

A race track, lots of twists and turns, and the track crosses itself a few times.

You get a dozen drunk drivers, and as they wobble around the track at high speeds, pedestrians rise up from beneath.

They are cement covered steel, painted to look real.

Anyone who finishes the race, gets to replace a statue in the next race.

OMG we should ban soccer matches immediately!

This match was on Saturday. A couple videos I saw are wild mayhem. Fans had to storm the field, interrupting the match to get away from violence. Liga MX cancelled the rest of the weekend's matches afterwards.

Reports are at least 26 injured, 10 hospitalized, some critically. Initially there were unconfirmed reports of deaths, but no deaths are officially reported. @DaEagles4Life check your thread title.

The thread title of 17 dead is probably more accurate than the others.   Mexico doesn’t like releasing accurate dead counts

You're embarrassing. Good Fing thing the potential audience is only 1500.

Fast kicking, low scoring, and ties! (Now with more death)

I think the important question here is did they die from soccer match or with soccer match?

You really believe that no one died after that?
