black is awesome in small does. bert kreischer is my favorite out there right now along with tom segura and seb maniscalco.

Love, love, love Tom. Sebastian too. I'm more lukewarm on Bert, but the guy that is a rising up and comer who I can't get enough of is Nate Bargatze. Check him out, he's got a couple specials on Netflix and Amazon prime that are good.

Another thing that annoys me....

I honestly can't stand any of these foreigners who come here, get a TV show where they're paid millions of dollars and then crap all over us.

Trevor Noah, John Oliver, Samantha Bee, Jim Jeffries, James Corden...

It just rubs me the wrong way

If they're a longtime resident of the U.S., then I don't see the problem and, in fact, can appreciate that their perspective is drawn from a wider experience. Generally speaking, if you're tuning into a comedy show and are taking the jokes personally, then comedy probably isn't for you. The right loves to chide the left for cancel culture, and rightfully so, especially when it comes to comedy. It cuts both ways, though.

The real loss was the Colbert Report, but I'm not sure it would even work anymore. The right is so completely unhinged and dangerously batshit that it's hard to even make it funny.

If into Seinfeld type comedy then you would like Mark Normand.

Dan Soder, Ari Shaffir, Tim Dillon, Diaz, Andrew Santino, Duncan Trussell are some other names. I like darker comedy that pushes the boundaries more than they should though.

Dave Attell will also never get enough credit for being an elite comic.

man, if we only had the right as an american to not watch things that we don't like, he may not get so upset.

I generally like Normand. His infamous tv spot on that Cleveland morning news show was hilarious.

Soder is ok, not a big fan of Shaffir's style, don't really like Dillon, and Diaz is just the cliche lazy hack that isn't funny at all to me. Santino is the ginger right? I kinda like him but need to see a bit more of his stuff.

And yeah, Attell is great, always liked him, his bumping mics special with Ross is just plain old good fun.

A surprisingly nice and accommodating (to his fans at least) individual.  Schmoopie and I met him after a show back when we lived in Denver.

His roasts were far superior to the stand up he did.

Anthony Jeselnik and Jim Jefferies are probably my two favorites going right now. I just caught Jo Koy in Atlantic City a couple weeks ago an his new stuff was really good.

I like Jeffries for the most part, but Jeselnik is like Kriescher in that they have comedic styles that I should really enjoy, but just don't find myself laughing all that much when I watch their sets. Jo Koy is okay too in small doses. He did a mock infomercial for Filipino Tupperware that is pretty funny.

Bert is comedian that is better in podcasts than he is with his stand up.

Comedian has gotten watered down these last few years with every no body getting a Netflix/Amazon special because they are so cheap to produce

Eh, even on 2B1C, I still find myself laughing more so at the stuff Tom says than what Bert says.

I just like dark humor, and I also like the over the top fake arrogance that Jeselnik portrays. He is also excellent in roasts and really good with hecklers and on the spot comedy.

Also a big Bo Burnham fan. Normally the musical stuff does nothing for me, but he has his own style. And he is also really funny with on the spot stuff.

Jeselnik and his cadence is great. Love his style.

To me the best young comedian is Andrew Schultz. He doesn't shy away from any topic and his crowd work is next level. Saw him live last fall and he didn't disappoint.

Yeah, one of the things about Jeselnik is his the way his jokes all do a 180 and his delivery is very unique. Very different from everyone else.

He has put his latest stand up on YouTube and it's a collection of his crowd work.

Schultz is another comic who capitalized on his Guy Code fame like Beyer and DiStefano. He might be decent in a few years but I prefer more of the seasoned guys in the meantime.

I have no idea what Guy Code is and Andrew has been doing comedy for 10 plus years now which is about the time you make it or break it. Dude is killer comedian, I laugh, and that is all I care about.

It was an MTV show that was popular about 10 years ago and became sort of a stepping stone for a decent number of young comedians at the time. They would then go on tour using that as their hook "Come see Chris DiStefano from MTV's Guy Code tonight at the comedy cellar." Segura has talked about it with other comedians on his YMH podcast a couple times.

There was also girl code that did the same for female comedians.

Is he trying to be funny? Just horrible

Seems like I've seen some funny clips from him. I don't have time to watch the show though.
