Is he supposed to throw it over the top and risk it being intercepted ?? Is he supposed to throw it into the ground at the feet of Quinton Jefferson and get called for intentional grounding ?? No one is claiming he did. Just throw the ball at his feet like every other quarterback does when a screen goes bad. This happens all the time in the NFL believe it or not. What player is doing down fast enough to catch that kind of throw straight at Sanders feet? Come on man. 1 minute ago, Uscg-green said: Why do you hate Wentz so much? There is 5 players between him and Sanders. Jefferson was already coming for him, what if it hits Peters, then he gets an illegal touching penalty. Please explain the pass trajectory that gets it to the feet of Sanders. 16 minutes ago, downundermike said:

But I'd much rather do that then constant criticism. 1 minute ago, EazyEaglez said: I guess you did ask a question. Good for you. I’ll try to be more specific. Seriously you can’t figure this out?? How many times have you seen players throw a pass near the grown and point to eligible receivers? Look I know if you answer the question properly in your mind it somehow means "you hate Carson.” It more assuredly does not mean that.

Look at the positioning here. He could throw the ball at Sanders feet or around him. He can throw the ball over his head where it goes incomplete. There’s no one else there.

He could have clearly threw the ball over Sanders head to get him to run after it or he could have threw it by his feet. His decision was to run here.

At that point he was already running, so throwing to Sanders was not an option. Go back to the shot I gave you, and tell me on the field where he was putting the ball at his feet without an intentional grounding penalty. You referenced all the times it happens, but on those plays there is a direct line to the players feet, in this case there is not. So tell me what yard line he is throwing it to ??

The Baltimore Ravens are deciding what to do with quarterback Joe Flacco after he led the team to a victory in Super Bowl XLVII in the final year of his rookie contract. Also before 2011 there was no rookie wage scale so a first rounder can be signed up to 6 years. Flacco was signed for 5. The Baltimore Ravens and rookie first-round pick Joe Flacco agreed to a five-year contract worth up to $30 million, agent Joe Linta said Wednesday night. The deal includes $8.75 million in guaranteed money.

This is one second before the second I just showed you. He clearly is looking at Sanders and doesn’t think he can make the play. At that point just throw it away. Instead he took the ball down and tried to make some joke move on the safety. Look if you want to try and tell me Carson was just trying to make a play cause he has the heart of lion I’m with you. If you’re trying to tell me his only option was to run then I’m not with you. If you’re trying to tell me he couldn’t have put this ball in a spot no Seahawks player could have touched it I’m not with you. If you don’t think Carson could have put this ball at Sanders feet I’m not with you. If you don’t think this injury could have been prevented again I’m not with you. So we spent all this time crying about Clowney, but the truth is we need Carson to make better decisions in situations like this so he can stay on the field. Him being on the field is better for the Eagles. That doesn’t make me "hate” Carson despite what what some of you ASSume.

As you can see here, and you can watch the video to back it up, the best LB in football Bobby Wagner is already on the move to the play spot. If he puts it in a reasonable position to not get an intentional grounding penalty, he risks Wagner picking it off.

He couldn’t get to that ball unless he teleports to it. He’s fast, but he ain’t that fast. Not to mention the fact Sanders has two blockers in front of him. This is a play from the first Seattle game where Carson tried to hit Sanders in the flat, but completely over threw him. The ball landed at the 6 with only Seattle players around it. There was no intentional grounding called and it wasn’t even close to Sanders. Just making it very clear Carson had options on that play.

At the point you showed from the side, Wagner has already come up the filed significantly and would easily be at the play point if Carson has to loft it over the traffic in his way to Sanders.

The picture you showed he’s clearly down field. I watched the play and I told you right after Carson looks away from Sanders he choose to run. There’s no delay other than his stutter step he used to try and bait the safety. Ironically he used this same move on a similar play in the first Seattle game where he also choose to run instead of throwing it away. This time the Eagles used a fake reverse and Carson fakes a throw to the receiver and it shakes out the linebacker so he runs for about seven yards and still gets hit with someone dropping all their weight on him even though he gave himself up on the play. The linebacker was Kendricks btw.

There's no real doubt there. Theres plenty of doubt for the MVP. Brady had identical numbers to Wentz, and turned 40 that year. The media was all over him about that.
