See this is what’s wrong with you apologists. You think what you want to think. I never once stated he wasn’t having an MVP type season, but what is the point to making that a thing? He didn’t win it. The sick part is you all use this kind a crap to justify your stances. I have stated numerous times I believe Carson has the potential to be a top five player (not just quarterback) in this league, but I would be remiss to tell you he’s that right now. He’s gone from an MVP caliber player to a top ten quarterback. I hate to break it to you, but that is trending downward and I believe he’s better than that. I’m not one of you apologist type that will praise mediocrity from a player I expect to be in MVP contention every season. That may seem negative to you all, but I’m not you.

Is this the moment where I’m supposed to show you Nick Foles records (many of them aren’t just Eagles records but actual NFL records) so you can see how irrelevant this is? Also what does any of this have to do with the 2017 MVP award he didn’t win?

When did I ever say Wentz was bad? I stated I wanted to see more and you threw a hissy fit. I said he people need to stop saying he won an award he actually didn’t win and you threw a hissy fit. The Eagles drafted a quarterback in the second round and you threw a hissy fit. For the record if the Eagles were so impressed with the stats you threw up then why did they fire their coaches and draft a quarterback in the second round? I remember when Carson and Dak first were drafted and the question was what would you rather have Dak + Zeke or Wentz? Almost to a man us Eagles fans said Wentz. A year later people said Dak was nothing without Zeke, but here now those same people make excuses for Carson when his players go down. The most troubling thing here to is if you look up the quarterback rankings right now you see Carson and Dak pretty close to one another. Both are somewhere around 10 and one or the other is within a spot or two of each other. So here in lies the problem. Either Carson isn’t as good as we thought he was or Dak isn’t as bad as we think he is. One was the 2nd pick in the draft while the other was a 4th round afterthought. These two players shouldn’t be close yet every time I see them always together. Silly me for expecting Carson Wentz to be mentioned more in the neighborhood of Pat Mahomes than Dak Prescott.

I'd rather have that attitude than be crabby and grumpy if everything isnt perfect. We have had very few losing seasons in 20 years. We have a recent SB title. We have the right coach and QB. We won the division last year. Yep I'm a happy fan. Enjoy your misery and anger.

Bro it’s not worth it. We’ve seen acts like his so many times on the old emb. 
 

you’ll give him stats but then he’ll say "stats don’t matter, he never did this and blah blah blah.” Then in another post all of a sudden stats do matter and he’ll compare Wentz to other QB’s using stats. We’ll say he has no weapons and he’ll be like "if he’s so good and such a great leader he should make everyone around him better and lead them to wins.” Then they do win and it’s "blehhh those wins against crappy teams don’t count.” He’ll just keep moving the goal posts and once he gets backed down and flustered he’ll go with the "I just expect my qb to be better” line. 
 

we all know his type. He’s that type of fan that low key gets happy if the eagles lose because of Wentz and gets pissed if the eagles win because of Wentz.
