NYEagle Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Ok...so I still swear to this day that Bush caught that and it should have been a fumble!! And if you want hits, just go watch the House of Pain game.....there was like 30 of them in there....still to this day, the most brutal punishment of an offense I've ever witnessed in one game. 3
b_west3 Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 That Brown hit on Bush was one of the cleanest, yet nastiest hits in NFL history. 2

There sure were. Put one in here.
EagleJoe8 Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 I can't find a clip, and I don't know how many people would even remember this hit, but back in 2000, we were playing a game in NO. There was one particular play when a pass was thrown to Joe Horn, and very similar to the Reggie Bush hit, Tim Hauck came flying in as the ball arrived and absolutely de-cleated Horn separating Horn from the ball. I wish I knew where to find footage of the hit.

hey suess Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Brandon Graham’s strip sack on Tom Brady to seal the Super Bowl win. Defense does win championships.

Still makes me mad that it was called incomplete.
EricAllenPick6 Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Jerome McDougle absolutely levels Eli Manning is his first ever start. 4 1

Procus Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 I was at a game in Miami where BDawk chased down a runaway train in Ricky Willams. When Dawk got in close for the kill - he swung one arm and punched Williams hard in the shoulder on the fly, tackled him from behind and brought him down. It was brutal, but I can't find a video of it. 1
EricAllenPick6 Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Another oldie but a goodie - how about "4th and 1"? A lot of the game is here in the video, 4th and 1 is at about 11:50. Kind of a team effort, but Gouveia and Romanowski were right there. 2

I think he had another vicious hit during his rookie year while on kickoff coverage. My personal favorite remains the Dawk hit on Alge Crumpler. Yes, Crumpler held onto the ball, but it was a tone setter. 1

EazyEaglez Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 I was watching a Dawkins highlights real and he had a play where he just stuffed the bus one on one. Not his best, but it still was pretty darn cool.
