Do they have any predators to worry about there? Wolves, etc.? (I don't mean hunters)

Wolves were reintroduced to Sweden about 50 years ago or something though the population is kept small by allowing hunting quotas.

Our summer cottage is within one wolf pack's territory and my golf course is within another. The course is surrounded by fencing to keep the boar out but a wolf got inside about 15 years ago and wandered around for a few hours before it got out again. I happened to play that day and turned a corner in some woods to see it 40yrds from me staring down our group of two. That was quite an experience. At that point, I had no idea it was in there moving around.

Turned out to be a cool experience and a story I can tell forever. The bottom line was she (it was a she) looked us over in their classic assessment steps and determined that we were not a threat and not prey and just moved along scurrying past us about 15 yards into the woods. We walked up to the next tee and the adrenaline rush came on strong.

FDA to phase out dyes used in Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Skittl...

The FDA is phasing out the use of petroleum-based synthetic dyes in food and drinks.

Removing dyes that have already been banned in some states and are not allowed in Europe is fine. Good even.

Stop attacking vaccines and trying to build databases of people with specific conditions.

Avon boy became deathly ill as part of E. coli outbreak; FDA not naming company responsible

The 10-year-old developed kidney failure after eating contaminated lettuce. The source of the outbreak that made 89 people sick remains a mystery.

This is kind of an interesting one. Long story short the FDA investigated the outbreak, but because it determined the contaminated lettuce was no longer in circulation and therefore didn't issue a recall, they won't reveal the name of the responsibility company.

"The FDA must follow the Trade Secrets Act, which limits the disclosure of trade secrets and confidential commercial information. Although the source of contamination would not generally be considered CCI, information relating to an outbreak could be considered CCI to the extent it revealed the business relationship between two or more firms."

Obviously the parents are pissed. Interesting quirk about the FDA

I have some good friends who were supposed to fly back to Sweden today but didn't get out.

I picked up a litre of Svedka just to try because I've never had it. Haven't broke the seal yet but will get to it forthwith.

Quick question, do I HAVE to drink it in a sauna or can I just pass out in my tub?
