May 5, 20223 yr According to ITB, Casey Weidl’s contract is still being paid for another year, they made it seem as if the Eagles are just moving on from him and apparently he’s well respected around the the league. Same for the South Western Scout that was not blamed for the Reagor pick, lol. Could it be Julian Lurie starting to put his guys in place?

The Cam Jurgens pick was leaked before the draft.

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the team has fired director of scouting operations Casey Weidl. Weidl is the brother of vice president of player personnel Andy Weidl and McLane reports his future is uncertain. Andy Weidl interviewed with the Steelers for their General Manager position and the team is expected to hire someone now that Kevin Colbert is set to retire after running their draft. Player personnel executive T.J. McCreight, southwest area scout Shawn Heinlen and scouting assistant Evan Pritt are also reportedly out for the Eagles. The Eagles have also seen co-directors of player personnel Brandon Brown and Ian Cunningham become assistant General Managers with the Giants and Bears, respectively, this offseason. Vice president of football operations Catherine Raiche is expected to leave for a job with the Browns, so there are going to be a lot of changes to General Manager Howie Roseman’s staff ahead of next season. Yeah and Andy Weidl is heading for Pittsboig, so. Andy probably told Pittsboig- "Throw in my side kick Weidl, and we have a deal." Weidls wobble in Pittsboooiiig.
May 6, 20223 yr The shake up continues. Tom Donahue not returning. His contract was expiring - told Eagles brass it was time to move on. Perhaps he saw the writing on the wall and knew he likely wouldn’t be offered a new contract. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/05/06/reprot-senior-executive-tom-donahoe-leaving-eagles/
