My guess is because we have a bunch of dopes on here who highjack threads to talk about Trump’s dope.

You can help the neighborhood by donating to the local food pantry. The grocery store where this happened serves a large community. Even a short closure will cause families there to struggle to find food.

Would a mod be able to confirm what happened? Maybe there's a log of the thread before it got deleted and they can see who had started it.
