I always find disc so much cheaper than digital. Digital should NEVER be more than physical. It irks me so bad. But Sony makes soooo much more profit off digital than physical (MS/Nintendo/etc too) that it won’t shock me if digital is the only option in the next console generation

I am already looking for new TV stands with the ps5 and new Xbox 

I got my PS5 thru Target and said I might not get it until the 18th of November. I really hope that is a mistype because it would be another drop of the ball moment for Sony.

Same, except all of my equipment is in a tower; part of a home theater system. No clue what I will do long term, but in the short term will just need to sit it on the floor. Boo.

It's gonna be tight fit in my cabinet. I usually allow for a few inches of breathing space on top and sides of my consoles, but this one wouldn't have that luxury. Thankfully though, it looks as if the vents have additional clearance due to the case design. So maybe I'll be okay. I'll have to monitor temps and add an additional cabinet fan if needed.

Pretty big news with Microsoft buying Bethesda today. Unfortunately this likely means no Starfield or Elder Scrolls on PS ever again. Tear. Smart move by xbox however. Credit where due.

Not necessarily, they're saying it's possible they don't make them all exclusive but that would be surprising. I hope they dont.

Meh, Bethesda has been pretty underwhelming for awhile now. I don't see them making all their games exclusive either. I know some are huge fans of their games but, the only ones I really cared about was Wolfenstein. A new elder scrolls won't be out for another 3-4 years. Didn't the fall out series kind of go to crap when Bethesda completely took them over? 

Bethesda may not want to make their games exclusive, but Microsoft will certainly want them to. 

Meh. Most of the xbox exclusives are also released on PC. And yeah, fallout hasn't been good since New Vegas.

Ehh, 6 days is nothing. The alternative is 6 months (at best!). I bought an Apple Watch 6 at release. Could get by last Friday (launch day). I keep wavering back and forth on which color I wanted, which band, blah blah blah. After about 30-45 mins I finally decided and the delivery date shifted out about 10 days. Targeted for Monday a week from now which is still "at launch” IMO.

I see the opposite. PS has many top notch exclusives. Xbox needs more exclusives. I agree Bethesda hasn’t been great, but Starfield sounds ambitious and incredible.

Do you think it helps people pick the Xbox over the PS5 though? That's just a general question I'm not that big of a gamer to know if that pushes people in xbox direction

Not today.  It's not truly known what microsoft plans to do about future bethesda games.

Well walmart said they were going to do in store pre-orders today on the ps5 but, instead changed it to online. So I'm guessing the chances are pretty high lol. 

I think Sony has plenty of consoles to go around and they are just messing with xboxes launch at this point lol

I still don't believe this narrative one bit...I'm fairly certain, per Sony's own words, that there we be plenty available at launch.
