Destiny USA is one of the larger malls in America. I have been there half a dozen times since things opened back up (including this past weekend). The mall, and the stores, all feel like a ghost town still. Unless you're referring to Trumper states, in which case they may be different.

Well I am indeed in a trumper state. At least the area is. They don't even wear masks in my Walmart

I read about that, Walmart has this beat other retailers thing cause the consoles were also showing being like 300 bucks cheaper but, they said that will not be what you will pay

What is everyone's first day buys? As said first PS in generations and looking at the new Spiderman and maybe Demon Souls but don't know a lot about that game

I got spiderman miles morales and last of us 2 because I got rid of my ps4. Also pre-ordered NBA2K21 mamba forever edition, not sure if I will open and play that or not. I mainly got it for my sports memorabilia collection.

I got Watch Dogs Legion, but it's releasing 2 weeks after launch so I'm trying to decide between sackboy and spiderman for launch.

Cyberpunk is a week later I think as well

Just a reminder that cyberpunk's current release date (11/19) is for the PS4 version, which will be playable on PS5. But an official PS5 release date hasn't been given yet, I don't think.

And in all honesty, with so much of the development occurring on the current gen consoles, I'm not sure what types of improvements we'd see with the official next gen releases compared to the current gen releases of the same software. Improved loading times maybe? Slightly better upscaling? Less compressed canned video cinematics? Hard to say, but I opted for the PS5 version of Watch Dogs just to be safe.

Godfall, Observer, Valhalla, and Miles look like good day 1 buys.

I'll be waiting for Ragnarok, Horizon, and FF

I ordered Miles Morales + (the one with the original game I already owned and beat lol), Demons Soul, and Sackboy. Never played or had interest in those Souls or similar games, but would love to give it a try. I think new console gens always have me interested in something I otherwise would avoid during mid-console life release.

I feel like I saw a date of March or something definitely Q1 2021 for the next gen version. I can wait until then, with ANY of the games that have the free PS4 to PS5 upgrades. I've never broken my "play one game at a time" habit, so even the 3 I get at launch likely will have one sitting around for a few weeks and the other sitting around for potentially months?

Not sure if our expectations are smaller jump from PS4 to PS5 then they were from PS3 to PS4, but I remember playing Black Flag on PS4, NBA2K##, and while maybe not a Day 1 release, still in the launch window was inFAMOUS Second Son. All of those were BANGERS and looked and played beautifully. I was home at Christmas playing 2k and like 8 different people walked into the living room at different times and took a solid 30 seconds before realizing it was a video game and not a live NBA game broadcast

Didn't play black flag, but yeah inFamous was awesome. That was a true PS4 release though, not a back compat release.
